An emerging Americana duo based in Kansas City, Mikal Shapiro and Chad Brothers deliver classic country and folk music alongside critically acclaimed originals. Strengthened by Shapiro’s lyrical prowess and Brothers world-class flat picking, the couple showcases their craft with simple harmonies, stellar guitar interplay and great chemistry.

Kathleen Murray has been writing songs for over a decade. Her approach has evolved but remains true to its roots, as a form of process. Inspired by the farmlands and forest surrounding Watsonville, California and overall human experience, her debut album Woodland Voices (2014) presents themes of spiritual unrest and “learning how it's not always bold to be alone.”
Sweeping harmonies and layered strings present a dreamlike backdrop to visual lyricism throughout her work. Now based in Seattle, Kathleen prepares to tour with her new full length album. This new collection of songs, titled Desert Dream, evaluates the difference between hard times and change, expressing a wisdom well beyond her 22 years.
